BIOGRAPHY

I graduated with an MPharm from the University of Strathclyde and obtained my PhD (Medicinal Chemistry) from the University of Nottingham before joining Taylor's University School of Pharmacy in 2015. I am also a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS). I currently teach and lead several modules in Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Chemistry, and am the currently Program Director for the Bachelor of Pharmacy (Hons) program. I was previously the Student Advisor for the Taylor's University Pharmacy Student Society (TUPSS), which aims to develop student leaders through various events and activities in collaboration with pharmaceutical industry partners and NGOs. I was also previously Associate Dean (International Relations), during which I coordinated international relations and develops student exchange programs with partner universities in Australia, UK, Thailand, and Indonesia.

My research areas are mainly focused on computational chemistry and molecular modelling of G protein-coupled receptors for structure-based drug design, including homology modelling, molecular dynamics simulations, virtual screening, and free energy calculations. Other research interests include aspects of pharmacy practice and clinical pharmacy. I have been an invited speaker for several CPD workshops for pharmacists, and continue to engage with the profession.
