Dr Navid Ali Khan


BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Navid Ali Khan holds a Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering from the University of Swat, Pakistan, and a Master of Science in Software Engineering from Bahria University in Islamabad, Pakistan, both secured with advanced merit scholarships. In 2018, he was granted a full scholarship from Taylor's University, where he also completed his doctoral studies, specializing in Unmanned Aerial Vehicle research.

As a dedicated academic, Dr. Navid has seamlessly transitioned from a Senior Lecturer role at the School of Computer Science, Taylor's University Malaysia, to his current position as a Program Director for the Bachelor of Computer Science (Hons). His academic journey has been marked by a commitment to excellence, evident in the numerous articles he produced during his time as a PhD candidate.

Dr. Navid's professional journey encompasses roles ranging from web/graphic designer to Project Manager, where he honed his skills in software and web application development. Notably, he served as a Consultant for a software company, overseeing the design and management of various web/software projects.

In addition to lecturing and instructing Computer Science courses, Dr. Navid actively contributes to the academic community by instructing undergraduates and co-supervising Master's and Ph.D. students at Taylor's University. His wealth of experience as a program coordinator and now as a program director reflects his ongoing dedication to shaping the next generation of computer science professionals.
