Associate Professor Dr R Ratneswary A/P V Rasiah


Assoc.Prof. Dr. Ratneswary Rasiah is currently an Associate Professor of Economics with the School of Finance and Economics. Assoc.Prof. Dr. Ratneswary’s strength lies in her ability to capture her students’ imagination as she draws on a wide range of real world cases and data to enhance and illustrate the various economic theories and concepts.  She is known for her enthusiasm, good sense of humour, innovative and engaging teaching and learning methods and her pastoral care; providing students with a conducive learning environment.

Assoc.Prof. Dr. Ratneswary also conducts various workshops for students and academic staff from Taylor’s University, as well as from other institutions of higher learning and secondary schools. She is also a Certified Corporate Trainer, having conducted various trainings for Bursa Saham and the Department of Irrigation and Drainage. She has also organized and conducted numerous engaging learning activities including team-building, community outreach projects, fieldtrips, both nationally and internationally.

Assoc.Prof. Dr. Ratneswary also actively undertakes research and scholarly activities. Aside from presenting papers at national and international conferences, she has also published several papers in peer-reviewed journals, aside from securing several research grants.
