Tony Liew Voon Fun holds degrees of Bachelor of Science in Design (Cum Laude) with Minor in Management, and Master of Architecture from universities in the United States of America. As a practising architect in the San Francisco Bay Area, California, he acquired knowledge and design expertise in the specialized field of healthcare architecture. Thereafter, he has actively served in the higher education industry in Malaysia and dealt extensively with professional boards, organizations and the government on policies related to the higher education sector and the construction industry, with strong ties and extensive networking with professionals and academicians. Tony believes in the power of transformative learning and advocates lifelong learning; he is currently the Head of School.

My areas of research interests are as follows:

1. Social studies as an integrative approach to develop solutions through an integrated view of scholarly domains for a greater awareness of design.

2. Health and well-being that promotes design outcomes that improve the relationship between people, the environment and resulting health consequences.

3. Study of architecture history of buildings and cities to form a fundamental and culturally inclusive approach to architecture.
