  • Bioprocess Engineering (Product recovery/extraction/purification): My research interests are centered on the development of rapid and cost effective purification, recovery and extraction method for the downstream processing of the targeted product such as antibodies, enzymes and other proteins. These research works include establishment of effective purification method, optimization of the system and the purity of the targeted product.
  • Process and Food Engineering: Another stream of research work that I have been active in is the processing of raw food product into the final finished product, such as fruit juices. This also includes the study of physical, chemical, thermal and textural properties of the food.
