Ms. Azlinda Hakim Binti Lokman Hakim
Azlinda Hakim Lokman Hakim is a lecturer at the School of Hospitality, Tourism and Events at Taylor’s University, Malaysia. She holds a master’s degree in international hospitality management from Taylor’s University and the University of Toulouse, France, as well as a bachelor’s degree in Hotel and Tourism Management from IMI International Management Institute, Switzerland.
With a teaching focus on hospitality modules such as accommodation management, room division management, service quality, social innovation projects, and convention and banquet sales, Azlinda brings a blend of academic and industry relevance to her classroom. She has led and coordinated key institutional projects, including the OPERA Cloud PMS implementation and Amadeus software integration, and serves as the project coordinator for several experiential learning initiatives such as the Hotel Takeover and Concierge Certification programs.
Azlinda has served as the Room Division Stream Coordinator (2020) and currently represents academic staff (BIHM) on the Student-Staff Consultative Committee. She is also the coordinator for the prestigious Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group STEP program, facilitating student engagement with industry leaders. Her professional interests lie in hospitality operations innovation, guest service excellence, and curriculum–industry alignment in hospitality education.
