Dr Sotheeswari A/P A Somasundram

Sotheeswari is a dedicated and passionate individual who firmly believes that good quality higher education can truly transform people's lives and benefit society and businesses at large. She has more than 20 years of experience in higher education and extensive experience in curriculum design, new programme creation and teaching. She initiated the design and development of an entrepreneurial education module at Taylor’s University. This course has produced students’ start-ups with teams taking their business ideas beyond the classroom.

In her previous role as the Dean of the Business School at INTI International College Subang, Sotheeswari doubled the enrollment numbers to more than 2,000 students and was a co-leader in the design of a strategic Graduate Talent Programme that propelled the institution to achieve the graduate employability rates of 96% within 2 years from 70%. She lead the faculty to become a leading school in the execution of real projects from the industry and various strategic immersion programmes with over 30 employers.
